 Not a Happy Customer - Two for the price of TwoJan 12, 2008
Before the holidays I decided to look at Amazon.com for a computer work desk for my husband for Christmas. I found it at Home and Living - the ATOWER desk. I ordered one for shipment - billed to my credit card. To my dismay, the transaction didn't go through on my first visit to the Amazon site. Then I received a phone call from Amazon asking me if I wanted 'one or two' desks. I told them only one, please. They told me they'd take care of the duplicate order.
To my surprise I received two desks and was charged twice on my credit card. Now - nobody at Amazon or Home Living wishes to speak to me.
I'm filing charges of fraudulent practices against Amazon/Home Living through my credit card company because they want to charge me a re-stocking fee (25%) to take it back. Also, they want me to pay for shipping ($50) the extra desk back.
This will be my last transaction with Amazon as I don't feel they have treated me fairly. Doubtful that anyone reads these reviews but it's another avenue for me to vent my frustration to a situation that has become costly, financially and emotionally, as well as in terms of time wasted dealing with a big company that doesn't care about its customers AFTER the transaction.
Yet another reason to BUY FROM LOCAL - REPUTABLE MERCHANTS!!!

My daughters room is very small and I was afraid that the tower would still be to big but it is perfect. It fits great in the corner and with the shelves it leaves plenty of room for other things in her room. The only thing was that we had to turn the tower slighty because it did not fit front to back without hanging over the edge. The price was also a great price. I shopped around and everyone else wanted way to much. I highly recommend this product.

Beautiful and simply perfect for a computer deskMay 11, 2007
This desk is the right size for a home office. It's very easy to assemble and it's beautiful. I aboslutely recommend this desk for everyone.
