You get what you pay forJan 15, 2008 I've had this desk for just over a year. At first it appeared to be very nice. Easy to assemble, good price, and small. After 6 months of having it, the laminate started bubbling. Now you can see where my wrists sit while I'm typing because the laminate has rubbed off. I'm not at the computer all day long either. I would think twice about getting this product. If it's a money factor, look at Sauder. My sister has one and it's lasted a long time. We also have a Sauder entertainment center and it has held up very well too.
